Head Coach: Lauren Neal
Hey Gators! I’m Coach Neal!
I’m excited to be your coach and can’t wait for a great season together! I’ve been the head coach at Clements High School for the past six years and have been coaching for well over a decade. Before coming to Clements, I was an assistant coach at Dulles High School for five years. I’ve also spent a lot of time coaching summer league, working with teams like the Sugar Creek Gators, Meadow Marlins, and Pecan Grove Piranhas.
Swimming has been a huge part of my life since I was six years old when I started with the Pecan Grove Piranhas. At eight, I joined First Colony Swim Team, where I trained for ten years. I swam varsity at Austin High School and then went on to compete at Centenary College of Louisiana, which was the smallest Division I school in the country at the time!
My goal as a coach is to help you become the best swimmer you can be by focusing on correct technique, hard work, and, most importantly, having fun! I want to create an environment where you feel supported, challenged, and excited to come to practice every day. I can’t wait to see all of you improve, set new personal bests, and make amazing memories this season.
